The Southampton Inn has signed the Sustainable Tourism 2030 Pledge, committing to improve our sustainability performance between now and 2030. We believe that a boutique inn experience and responsible stewardship of our beautiful Lake Huron community go hand in hand. Each year, we work to reduce our environmental footprint — through refillable, eco-friendly bath and wellness products sourced locally from Re:Mind Welness, on-site refillable water stations to eliminate single-use plastic bottles, two EV charging stations, and an encouragement of walking and cycling to explore Southampton. We source our linens and food items locally, maintain strong recycling practices throughout the inn, and are committed to annually measuring and reducing our carbon footprint over time. Above all, we are proud to support the community we call home — and to help ensure this special corner of Ontario remains beautiful for generations to come.
